Natalie + Tyler | Galway Downs Temecula Wedding

Soooo it’s been quite a minute since we’ve posted here #whoops But for good reason! We’e been super busy shooting all these beautiful weddings for our amazing clients. We’ve had so many that we’re still obsessed with so today we are going to share! Enter Natalie and Tyler!!

Natalie and Tyler got married at the beautiful Wedgewood at Galway Downs located here in Temecula, California wine country. We shoot at Galway Downs pretty much every weekend. Okay maybe not every weekend but it’s one of our home away from home venues so we’re there a lot. We know the property like the back of our hand and know where the most beautiful landscapes are like this open field and other great locations.

We’ve seen a lot of absolutely gorgeous wedding dresses and this one from Kleinfeld Bridal ranks up there in our top favorites!  From the lace details, to tiered tulle skirt it’s perfection. We work with Sheila from Soiree Floral Design quite a bit as she’s a industry vendor and a friend and she does some of the most stunning floral work. It’s always such a pleasure to be able to photograph her bouquets, ceremony sites and table set up because we know it’s going to be #InstaWorthy and this bouquet is no exception!

Being in wine country we see a lot of wine unity ceremonies or beer unity ones since we’re not too far from the craft beer capital of the States. So when Natalie and Tyler decided to do a sand unity ceremony with a twist we loved the idea! They used sands from the two states they’re from Connecticut and California to unite them as one. How cute!

During the ceremony you will have 2 photographers covering all angles. One might be in front and the other might be off to the side capturing sweet moments like this one. We pride ourselves in not only taking photos of the ceremony and formalities like the unity ceremony but also the emotional, intimate moments like this.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. VandenAkker!

Here at The Studio we believe in fun, natural and romantic photography. No forced smiles or awkward poses, only fun, natural and romantic photos that tell the story of one of the most special days in your lives. This group definitely had it on lock down!

What’s super fun and a great photo opportunity at Galway Downs is that they have their own fairytale horse and carriage! Yep that means you could be like Cinderella and ride either to or from your ceremony in a horse drawn carriage!

Natalie and Tyler are big football fans and wanted to incorporate their love of the sport into their day. So they got customized jerseys and used them for some photos and as their guestbook. Guests could sign the backs and they’d frame them after the wedding. What a cute and unique idea! Guestbooks are such a fun way to showcase both your personalities or interests! We’ve seen so many fun ideas from jenga blocks, date night ideas and globes and more!

They were such naturals in front of the camera and we were able to capture so many beautiful images. The hardest part was narrowing them down!

We are natural light photographers meaning our best work is when we have use the natural light instead of artificial camera lighting or overhead lights. So Galway Downs is a DREAM to photograph because their reception hall is almost all windows which lets in this dreamy, natural lighting allowing us beautiful shots like this!

Can we talk about this sweetheart table for a quick second? Because it’s EVERYTHING! The florals, the loveseat and gold details with a hint of rustic with the lanterns. This is the perfect mix of romantic and rustic!

There’s just something about first dances and father/daughter, mother/son that get us. #AllTheFeels Maybe it’s because we’re romantics or it brings is back to our own first dances on our wedding day but every time we smile and it makes our hearts happy!

How fun is this cookie bar station? In addition to the wedding cake by Bo Cakes Bakery, they also did a dessert station with all types of fun cookies from Great Dane Baking Company!

It was a wonderful night of love, laughter, dancing and special moments that we are thankful we could capture and share. Congratulations again Natlie and Tyler!
